HeroItes eyes BPO buyout in US

AS part of its strategy to expand its presence in the business process-outsourcing segment, The Hero-Group owned HeroItes is looking at acquiring a mid- sized BPO in North America in the Next two months.

“The Company has finalized one mid-sized BPO player, and we are expecting the deal to be sealed in the next two months,” said Sunil Munjal, managing director, the Hero Group.

The Company will gauge its performance after the acquisition and will then evaluate its inorganic growth strategy, added Munjal.

Heroites, as of now, has only one BPO center in India with only 1,000 employees. It is hoping that the acquisition of The American BPO player will increase its presence in the BPO segment.

The Company has ruled out setting up of another center in the country. But it will strengthen its workforce at its existing Gurgaon by at least 1,000 employees in the next one year, Munjal Said.
